Food Services

“At Men-o-lan we understand that food is important for a great retreat. Meal times can make or break an event. In our meal planning, we strive to find the perfect balance of convenience and quality. Our goal is to make you feel right at home during meal times. One way we pursue this goal is by making our delicious salad dressings and desserts from scratch. Service:

We serve most meals family-style, which means will food will be served at each table. We always have refills available from the kitchen. Some meals may be served buffet-style if it is more convenient. A sample menu can be provided upon request.

Dining Hall:

Meals are prepared, served, and eaten in our Dining Hall located towards the center of camp. It seats approximately 175 people. If your group size is over 175 we will arrange for multiple meal times to accommodate everyone.

Meal Times:

Our meal times are: Breakfast at 8:30AM, Lunch at 12:30PM and Dinner at 5:30PM.
From time to time, we will stagger meal times to reduce the wait time for each group. In general, the food will be served for a minimum of 30 minutes after the time we ask you to come.

Food Allergies:

If you report allergies or other dietary needs in advance, we will do our best to accommodate those needs. However, if you have extensive needs, we suggest that you bring your own food, or rent Landis Hall where there is a kitchen to prepare your own meals.
For persons giving us advance notice, identify yourself to the food service staff when you come to the dining hall. The kitchen staff will indicate the items suitable for you or provide a substitute entrée when necessary.
